I sit here looking at and reading all this information about this beautiful little girl, Taegen, and my heart is breaking for you and for her. I can't explain why my heart is so heavy for this one child but I feel as if she was someone I knew and I truly hurt for her. I am a mommy and I love my 2 boys so very very much. I can't possibly know what I would feel in your place. I see the pictures of this smiling little angel and my heart is breaking into a million pieces for all of the things she will never experience or see or touch or hear. I cry for all of the kisses and the hugs and the tears and the laughter you will never get to experience with her. I cry for her first day of school, her first little boyfriend, her first date, her first kiss, her first prom, her wedding, and her children that will never be. All of these things stolen from her. I cry for you, the mom and the dad, for you the grandmother and grandfather, for you, the big brother. I just cry and can't seem to stop. You have forever touched my life with your story. Thank you sweet, little Taegen for being born so that one day my life might be touched and changed because of you.

I've been reading thru all the sweet words of Love for this little Babygirl! As I sit hear at my computer and can hear my daughter Meghan 6yrs old playing with her Friends after her First week of school ! I'm so over come with emotions for this child.She will Never do all the things little girls do with their families and Friends.People can get on theis Computers and post whatever they want ,but the Truth is He Killed this Baby.The babysitter is ALso as much to Blame too!I babysit sometimes and know where the baby is at all times!!!
 First ,off I would hang him on the court square for all to see and let everyone know they better not do this again or they can expect the same Justice in return!  As ,for her I'm at a loss for her Punishment.I guess just put her beside him too! I'm so sick and Tired of Adults killing our babies!

I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am for your loss! I have a 22 month old daughter. Taegan was very lucky to have the family she does. Jewel, I don't know how you do it. You are so strong. You have a handsome little man! Keep your head up and stay strong. Jose will get what's coming to him. They always do. If you need anything, just let me know. I don't think there is anything I can say to lessen the pain, that you have not heard already. I cannot imagine something tragic like that happening to my children, and don't think any parent can. But my heart goes out to the family/friends of precious Taegen. If I had one wish in my lifetime, it would be that abuse or tragic events like this, would never happen again. Bless you and yours.

I dont have any children so im not to sure how or what you are going threw i have 4 niceses and newphews that i do watch out for and hearing this story tore me inside out. I'm only 24, but i'm sorry to hear about your lost she is a very beutiful angel and our father has her with him. Hope that one day you will find peace in your heart. Today marks 120 days that you watched your sister being murdered I know in time you will begin to ask yourself why not me? I just wanted you to know a few things little man. Your grandma Jan started this site for you! She wanted to make sure that you would always have a place to go and read all about little taegy. In doing so, she began a legacy. The legacy is called Taegen McKinney. For so many days, I questioned why a animal would take the life of such a precious baby. It took Taegens legacy for me to begin to understand we all have a purpose, and Taegens was to touch the lives of other people, and request JUSTICE for herself and those children before and after her. Your little sister has touched more lives in her short life, then you and I will ever begin to think to touch. She had a purpose and she is continuing her purpose. Never loose sight of yours. I have been so proud of your daddy. So many feelings bottled up and no way to release them. But he has been a bigger man, and not reverted to violence, because violence never brings anything but hurt to everyone involved. And your mommy, she is busy getting you ready for school, and trying to give you some sort of normal life. You would be very proud of both of your parents. Your grandma Jan, oh my some day you will know what a fighter she is. I pity jose garcia, he did not know the tiger her unleashed in your grandma. And your aunt Candice, she would do anything for you sweet man. She loved and cared for you and taegen just like you were here very own. You have atteneded all the rallies, all the marches, all the walks. Mommy and Daddy keep you away from the court house, that is no place for such a little man. But someday you will look back on all this and you will be very proud of your little sister, she will have accomplished so very much in her life. Do what you can do to take her life further as we all do today.

My heart goes out to your family. I hope you seek justice if you don't anytime soon. I am studying to become an investigator and I will be more than willing to take this case. All these cases that have not seekin justice I want them to because all these families are going through all this pain while others are getting away with murder. My friend was murdered in 1999. It's a cold case now. I totally can relate. I lost three children too but they were by miscarriages. A boy, lil, girl and another one i will never know. But my boy died in my hands and the doctors didn't revive him but I can relate on losing a child. I am here for you. May God bless this family with justice for this beautiful little girl. I wish I could have got to meet. But we will all meet again when judgement day becomes before God. God bless this family. Taegen watch over yor family sweety and help them keep strong.
